Services That Support Independence
Enable Madison County provides programs and services that help aging and homebound residents of all ages across Huntsville and Madison County live safely, independently, and with dignity. Services are designed to support safety, mobility, nutrition, comfort, and everyday independence through need based assistance tailored to what residents truly need.

Wheelchair Ramps
Safe wheelchair ramps and accessible entrances can be one of the greatest needs among the residents we serve. Unsafe entrances can limit access to medical care, increase fall risks, and create barriers to daily living for individuals with limited mobility. Enable Madison County coordinates wheelchair ramp builds and repairs to help residents safely enter and leave their homes.
Basic Eligibility
Clients must be aging, homebound, or individuals with limited mobility, all of ages. Properties must also be suitable for ramp installation based on an assessment and safety considerations.
Request Process
Clients or caregivers may complete a service inquiry form or contact Enable Madison County directly to begin the assessment process.
Enable Garden

This program supports better health, strengthens community connection, and restores dignity through reliable access to nutritious vegetables.
How Deliveries Work:
- Volunteers harvest weekly during the season.
- Bags are assembled at the garden.
- Volunteers deliver vegetables directly to client homes.
